A newly carpeted staircase leads guests to the top bedroom which has wooden beams exposing the everlasting character of what this building once was. There is also a large, modern bathroom with separate shower and next to this room is a walk-in-wardrobe.

Charlestown is steeped in history, a World Heritage site and is also part of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). Even better, Starfish Cottage is only a minutes walk from this famous and picturesque harbour which has been used in many TV shows and films, including Poldark. It is surrounded by coffee & gift shops, eateries & watering holes and Charlestown beach. There are nearby coastal walks with stunning views over the sea, cliffs and nearby beaches such as Porthpean and Carloyn Bay where there are many watersport activities on offer. For the even more energetic, Carloyn Bay golf club is nearby too. A short drive from Charlestown is the Eden Project which is a world-renowned eco-tourism destination with biomes housing a vast variety of plant species. It is also here that events and renowned musicians play in concert.
